W. Collingsworth writes another "know-it-all" internet comment that provides no substantiated insight into the published article beyond W.'s own self righteous opinion. W. generally disregards what is otherwise a well written and persuasive piece, albeit slightly biased towards Teach for America.

This is another "touchy, feel good" piece about a system that is failing its students, citizens, businesses, and the nation as a whole. A classic example of attempting to solve a crisis by burning money on policies and techniques that don't work. The author would like us to believe that the crisis is about "the children", but the reality is that it's about protecting the jobs of "the education bureacracy". Show us results and discipline in spending, and we might be willing to give more support to public education. "Stimulus" could be another word for "extortion".
