Families and friends took time to relax and enjoy beautiful weather at the Barbecue, Blues and Bluegrass festival. The event was held on Oct. 2 at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum. The Next Generation, a volunteer organization founded to benefit The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center, hosted the event. In only its second year, the event has raised over $25,000.

- The Next Generation set up a table for membership sign-ups.
- The Marshall Brothers Band and the Jimmy Wolling Bluegrass Band provided the entertainment.
- Children participated in a “Dunk Your Doctor” event that featured Dr. Keith Seibert
- A variety of childrens’ activities were available.
- Volunteers painted the faces of attendees.
