The SCAD Bees earned a 10-4 victory over Grove City College in the men’s lacrosse game on March 3. The Bees took an early lead, finishing the first period up 3-1. The team ended the third period 8-1 and held that score for the entirety of the game. Grove City managed to quickly score two points in the beginning of the fourth and final period. SCAD responded, bringing the score to 10-3 before a one-hour rain delay called for heavy thunderstorms. Play was resumed at about 1 p.m. Grove City scored the final point of the game at the 2:32 mark, and the Bees let the clock run out. The men’s lacrosse team now holds a 3-2 record looking forward to the next game, which will be played away against Southern Virginia University on March 18.
