Fourth-year photography student Chris Bohlin will host the opening of his first photo exhibition titled #LIFE on April 20 at the Oglethorpe Gallery.

Bohlin’s photo exhibition will display several series that depict the way he sees the world.

One series in particular is all black and white 4×5 film prints of places around Savannah, including spots he sees while riding his fixed gear around town.

“Savannah is beautiful during the day,” Bohlin said. “But at night it’s a-whole-nother story.”

Besides the photo series, there will be a photo installation of interactive prints, music and a video.

Bohlin says that through his prints he wants to show people a way to view the world in a way that differs from how they typically would.

The Oglethorpe Gallery is at 406 E. Oglethorpe Ave.
