The smell of chicken fingers and pancakes filled the air around the freshmen dorms May 26. No, this was not a late night Waffle House delivery, this was Midnight Breakfast. It’s a bi-annual event put on by SCAD Residence Life and Housing and sponsored by Bon Appetit on the last Sunday of fall and spring quarter. Hundreds of students lined up to get into the doors of Café at The Hive where they could take a study break from finals and get some breakfast, free massages, door prizes, and win packages from the Bee Bucks raffle.
“There’s no better reason to start off a stressful week, than with a hot meal served by SCAD faculty and staff to thank the students for their hard work during the year,” said The Hive’s Residence Director Amanda Morgan.
