“We [at Adobe] ask you what you want to do. Then we try and give it to you,” said Sebatian Distefano, senior business development manager at Adobe Systems.
Distefano, in front of a group at Gutstein Gallery, showed off some of the newest features of CS 5.5. This included the newest member of the Adobe workflow, Adobe Story.
Story is a brand new product that was made especially for film planning and script writing and is available for free until April 2012. Story links with Adobe Premiere to streamline work flow and can sync to audio in a clip in order to search for words and phrases in dialogue.
Distefano also unveiled Adobe Audition, a new addition to Apple Audio editing software that has a spectrum frequency analyzer. The analyzer converts audio into colors so you can see and remove anomalies. More information on these and other improvements is available on Adobe’s website.
