Actor Sir Ian McKellen received the Lifetime Achievement Award Nov. 4 before the screening of “Blue Valentine” at the Trustees Theater. McKellen also sat down for students for a master class and answered questions after a screening of his 1998 film “Gods and Monsters” Nov. 4.
